The Colorado State University Men’s Lacrosse program is excited to announce new media internship opportunities for CSU students! We’re looking to assemble a creative and passionate media team to help capture the energy, excitement, and tradition of the lacrosse program.

Whether you’re interested in photography, filmmaking, social media, or public relations, this is your chance to gain hands-on experience in sports media, build a professional portfolio, and be part of a team environment that thrives on creativity and collaboration.
Open positions
Videographer
VFX Artist / Editor
Transform raw footage into unforgettable experiences. The VFX Artist / Editor will create smooth transitions, dynamic edits, and motion graphics that push our content to the next level. If you love experimenting with After Effects, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, this role is for you.
Sound Engineer
Sound is the final layer that brings a story to life. Whether it's mixing crowd noise into highlights or finding that perfect track for hype reels, the Sound Engineer ensures our content sounds as good as it looks.
Photographer
Tell the story of CSU Lacrosse one snapshot at a time. Capture live-action, team portraits, and unique behind-the-scenes moments that showcase the personality and passion of the program. Your photos will be used across social media, marketing, and alumni outreach.
Social Media Coordinator
Be the voice that represents the program online. The Social Media Coordinator will manage day-to-day posting, write engaging captions, cover games live, and help keep our platforms buzzing with content. You’ll need to be quick, sharp, and ready to think on your feet.
Social Media Analyst
For those who love numbers as much as highlights. Track performance across platforms, report on engagement trends, and suggest strategies to improve reach and fan interaction. Perfect for students interested in marketing, data, and sports strategy.
Content Creator
Write compelling stories and create content revolving around CSU Lacrosse, and help build excitement within the community. Strong writing skills and a creative voice are a must, as well as the ability to work in tandem with the Social Media Coordinator.
Project Manager
Media teams consist of many moving parts, and great media teams are efficient at managing those parts. The Project Manager will be tasked with keeping a schedule and coordinating operations, allowing other team members to focus solely on their creative roles. Tracking and staying on top of progress, confirming that assets get delivered between teams, and ensuring all the final boxes are checked are roles that an effective manager should exhibit.
Why join the team?
- Real sports media experience covering live events, athletes, and fans.
- Portfolio building for careers in journalism, communications, design, or media production.
- Networking opportunities within CSU athletics and the broader sports industry.
- Team environment where your creativity will directly impact the program’s brand and fan experience.
How to apply
Interested students can apply by emailing the following to media@csulacrosse.com
- A short cover letter describing which role you’re interested in and why.
- A resumé or portfolio link (if available).

Joining the CSU Men’s Lacrosse media team is a unique opportunity to be part of the action, create unforgettable content, and begin building a strong foundation for your professional portfolio. The CSULAA is dedicated to student development and involvement in the program, and is committed to providing students resources and references to help them in their professional careers.
We can’t wait to see the creativity and energy you’ll bring to the field. Go Rams!
