2010 Fall Ball Preview

FORT COLLINS, Colo

The Colorado State University men’s lacrosse team is pleased to announce the finalization of its Fall 2010 schedule. Scrimmages against two local NCAA Division I teams highlight a schedule that will span three separate weekends in October and pit the Rams against eight different teams. On Friday, October 8, CSU will travel south to take on two NCAA varsity programs at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. It will be the Rams’ second meeting with Division I Air Force in the past calendar year as they tangled with the Falcons in a mid-February preseason scrimmage in 2010. While at the Academy, CSU will also play first-year NCAA Division II team Adams State. Adams is a brand new program out of Alamosa, CO and their meeting with the Rams will be the first in the two programs’ history. All three games will be played under full collegiate rules, including 15 minute stop time quarters.

It will be the first time the Rams have scrimmaged DU since the Pioneers became an NCAA Division I varsity program. Excepting the BYU vs. DU game in the morning, the rest of the contests will be played using a shortened time schedule.
