Awoke Last Night to the Sound of Thunder.
How far off, I sat in wonder

Started humming songs from 1963,
Ain’t it Funny How the Night Moves.

I am not a Bob Seger maniac or anything, but I always thought of him as an underrated songwriter.

STRIKE THAT

We were taken down a notch today by electricity in the air. There was all three for once, lightning, thunder, and a hard rain that fell on our field, which will be better for it all tomorrow when we hopefully will have sunnier skies to go along with greener pastures.

It is just jumbling and rumbling out there right now as I sit in my office. I don’t mean to sound sacrilegious, but it sounds like the heavenly body had a bad lunch today.

I had been looking forward to yelling at them today about a couple of things, but I didn’t even get to do that. The "heavy stuff" came in right at the time we start. I took that, and a few other things as a billboard guiding me to the right choice (cancel practice) quickly today.

MEET MARKET

We had our indoor meeting the other night and a few potential player gems I knew nothing about beforehand might have shown up. I’m not sure, but I think I have some renewed hope that sometime during this coming year we will get to the point where we can at least spell FACE-OFF correctly. My greater hope is that the word face and off when put together will be much more associated to positive sounding phrases in future CSU lacrosse sentences. How’s that?
