KNOW THE TRUTH BUT THE TRUTH WILL NEVER GET YOU THE COVER

Nick and Jessica have split!  This has nothing to do with lacrosse, but I went to the grocery store yesterday and I saw all the colorful "entertainment" magazine fronts sitting on their racks while waiting in line, and for the first time in my memory every single one of these weekly rags had the same couple on the cover.  There was a story inside each one about this unhappy pair of people (Nick and Jess) and the cover picture was taken when they were pretending to be blissfully together last week, last month, or whenever. Who the hell are these people and why does anyone care if they are harmoniously united or not?  How did we get here?  Does either one of these very attractive humans have any greater good or talent other than looking good?  I know, she sings.  So do lots of people.

I don't even think "Jacko" or Jen and Brad have ever made that many covers in a single week. Then of course there is Oprah.  She is on the cover of her own magazine every month.  The only question for her is what to wear.  I wonder what that must feel like.  I guess it would keep you on your toes.  Let's see, a magazine called 'Flip' and I'm the cover boy every month……..

What is all that stuff about humans only using 10% of their brain capacity?  That seems like a stretch to me.
