Between the 21st birthday thing and the snowstorm that has left an extended calling card on the ground (its cold) we got absolutely nothing done in the outdoor realm this week, and very little got accomplished at our two night indoor sessions for that matter. I suppose that it is okay for things to go this way. We needed to refresh after the 4 games in Texas. A few guys are sick, as in ill with the flu and the like.
I am selling everyone on the reality that next week is the important part of our preparation for the next two games anyway, and in particular the Colorado College game a week from tomorrow, Saturday, in Colorado Springs. That (CC game) is our one annual opportunity to play a solid Division III opponent. It is an important "measuring stick" game for us in my estimation and in many ways. Last year was the first time we had beaten the Tigers during my time here at CSU.
With any luck I will one day have two practices in one day for once like everyone else in the world does. I think they call them two-a-days. If we could have one of those (or is it two?) this upcoming week that would be nice.
