CSU 9  ARIZONA 4

We won, so why I am so grumpy?  Maybe because it was semi-beautiful as we built up a 5-1 first quarter lead,  and it was tolerable as we took a 9-3 lead at one point in the 4^th, but then it and we got very ugly.  We imploded to a certain degree, and that is not what I wanted to see.  We have a lot of work to do.

We could have run the other team off the field, but instead we gave them more reason to believe in themselves as the game wore on.  They outplayed us in the second half and we played ugly.  I had no magic speeches.  I don't feel like I did much to help us tonight.

As for the Laxcats, they hung in there great, They were aggressive as a team and they "rode" the hell out of us, forcing us to turn the ball over numerous times in transition situations.  They were probably in better condition than we.  They were well coached and obviously had pointed toward this game. 

I know I'm dumb and a little slow, but I just do not understand this whole relay substitution nonsense.  It takes like a minute to change everyone up.  I think it is boring and ugly.  I have yet to see it give a team an advantage,  I have seen countless off-sides and illegal procedure calls with it, however.  I wish some patient coaching colleague would take me aside and explain why this is good for their team or the game.
