Coach Flip Naumburg's Journal

As much as I have felt like writing lately, it seems like I haven't had a minute of time since I have taken over financial operations for the CSU Lacrosse team. It is no small job, but there
just needs to be some tightening up of the things we do financially.
Anyway, before I leave in a minute, I wanted to at least jot down my thoughts before our first tournament in Golden today. We have had 5 practices. In some ways we are pretty far along, and,
of course, in some ways we have a long way to go. There are two things I look forward to seeing today. The first is that I'm thinking we can run up and down the field pretty well for this time
of the year (conditioning-wise). The second thing I want to monitor and evaluate is how we communicate, and yes, how we act.
My overall plan is to more or less, "Just let them play." At the same time, that will be a little difficult with 50+ eager beavers that can't wait to get on the field. I will need to keep order
at times, I am sure. One thing for sure is that we all can't wait.
